Although this is not yarn or knitting related, I thought I would include this so he will be remembered. Wrinkly Wron passed away today. He will be dearly missed.

Just an update
So, I'm still working on the vest. I have some of the edging done now, but I need needles that are in a pair of mittens right now. Therefore, this project is temporarily on hold. I'm a little worried that I made the vest a little small. I'm looking for a way to fix this, if it's possible... so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Here are the needles that are holding up my vest project. I found a pattern of these mittens on Ravelry, but I didn't buy the pattern. I just kind of made up my own from the picture. I actually love love love this pattern. So, I have to finish this mitten, start the next and then finish the vest!
As well, today I was zooming around the web and I found a site called Hook and Needles. You can visit the site here. On it she posted two videos that I thought were so cute that I'd share them myself!
Here is one that I think is super cute. The thing that blows my mind is how fast she knits! Not to mention that she doesn't even seem to drop a stitch!
Here is one that I think is sooo cool! Even though this was done with a knitting machine, I bet it still took a while to do!
Well, that's all for today. :o)

Updates, Updates.
So, it's been quite a while because I've been very busy. I managed to only knit two things since the last post and they would be a pair of socks and a purse.
The socks are called "Aran" socks by Karen Konop, and I found the pattern on Ravelry. I used a thicker yarn, a worsted weight (just trying to use up left over yarn) and I made the socks shorter (because I don't particularly like high socks).
I'm also in the process of making a vest, "Sexy Vesty" on Ravelry. It's the first time I'm making something quite this big. I usually only make little accessories, but I figured this would be a good next step!

The purse was also made from a pattern I found on Ravelry. It is called "Square Cake" by Jarilyn Manson. I found this fun to make, but the squence was a pain because it was diffcult to pull the yarn tight sometimes. I haven't lined the purse yet because I haven't had time to go out and buy some material to attach it.
Here it is laying down flat:

Two new mittens and a finished scarf
Well, I finished my boyfriends scarf. I sent it to him for valentines day, and he really likes it! I ended up having to block it because the edges kept curling. The blocking worked quite well, so I'm pleased with it overall. Here's the finished version:
Next are the first set of mittens I knit up. I bought the pattern from a local yarn shop. The pattern is called Toasty Warm Double Mitts. They are not done yet, though, because I need to knit the lining. I'm hoping to block them soon and get the lining finished.
Andddddddddd... here's mitten number two. It's a pattern from Interweave Crochet. Thrummed crochet mittens. I love it! It's so clever. I've never seen thrummed crochet mittens before and as soon as I saw the pattern I was so excited.

Some new knitting
Hello!
Here are some pictures of my current knitting projects. This is a cabled neck warmer pattern that I found on Ravelry. If you want the pattern you can look me up to find out what pattern it is. This is my first time knitting cables, and I'm not finding them too hard.

This is a scarf I'm knitting for my boyfriend, Andrew. He picked out the patten from Ravelry for me to knit. It's a pretty basic scarf and can get repetitive. The edges also seem to roll in and I'm disappointed with it. I read online that if you spray it with cold water, it'll stop from rolling, so I hope that will work.
Well, that's my latest knitting attempts. I have a pattern bought and some yarn for Toasty Warm Double Mitts, and I can't wait to start them. I'm making it with Alpaca yarn and Angora yarn so they're going to be nice and warm. I'll update again when I'm almost done these projects. Thanks for reading!

Finished Projects
So, here are some of my finished projects.
Thrummed mittens: This was my first pair of thrummed mittens, hence why they ended up so puffy.
My first pair of socks:
Trigger finger mitts for dad:
and some Amigurumi (my first time crocheting):
I have more finished project, but never took pictures of them. Mostly they are scarves and such. I will update the projects I'm currently working on tomorrow. I hope you enjoy!! If you have any suggestions, just leave me comment!

First Time Blogger
Well. Here it is. My first blog entry. Ever. I don't really know what I should put here, but hopefully I will upload some pictures from my camera soon, so I can post them here. I'm working on a few projects now, and I have a few finished (with pictures) that I will post.
I love to knit/crochet/bake/decorate cakes and pretty much anything else crafty.
So, stay tuned for some projects that I've done!
